  • As an 8 year old boy watching on the approach to Union Mills I didn’t realise the importance of that day, Hailwood slipped up the inside of Read on approach to Union that day on the later laps, the roar from the crowd at that point was unreal, everyone was bouncing up and down, when it came over radio when he won I asked my dad why have all the men got tears in their eyes, he just hugged me and said you have just witnessed one the greatest moments ever in TT history like Bob Mac doing the 100mph
I was there for first 110, 115, 120 & 125mph laps before emigrating to Australia
Hizzy beating Foggy in 92 Senior and Joey 2000 F1 where my best moments which I will take to my grave
    Long live the TT Bug
